Terms of service
Last updated: October 6, 2026
Who we are
HiveDeck is an independent project based in the United States, provided by Lukas Siemers (“we”). Questions about these terms: support@hivedeck.app.
Agreeing to these terms
By creating an account, joining the waitlist, or using the HiveDeck app or website, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use HiveDeck.
Closed beta
HiveDeck is in a free closed beta. Features can change, break, or be removed, the service may be unavailable at times, and we can end your beta access or the beta itself at any time. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access.
Your account
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Keep your sign-in details and beta access code to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account.
Your agents and provider accounts
HiveDeck lets you run coding agents such as Claude Code and Codex on your own computer, using your own provider accounts. Your use of those agents is also governed by the terms and pricing of the provider (for example Anthropic or OpenAI). You are responsible for the code, commands, and content you and your agents create or run.
Shared rooms
A room’s host decides who can join. Only invite people you trust, and only share terminals, browser panes, and files that you are allowed to share. Do not use HiveDeck for anything illegal or to access other people’s systems without permission.
Your content
Your code and files stay yours. We don’t claim any ownership of what you or your agents create in HiveDeck.
Ending your use
You can stop using HiveDeck and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
No warranty
HiveDeck is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t promise that it will be error free, secure, or always available.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or code, arising from your use of HiveDeck. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or 50 US dollars. Some states don’t allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
Changes
We may update these terms. If the changes are significant, we will announce them on this page before they take effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri and the United States, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Missouri.
